Shipping & Storage FAQs

Q. Do I need to refrigerate the tea after mixing it with water or can I serve it and leave it at room temperature?
A. Our tea is put into a centrifuge filtering system, and it naturally takes out the caffeine, through the filtering process. Also during the filtering process, it takes out all the tannins. This is what you find in a typical home-brewed iced tea, that is why it starts to turn cloudy and bitter after a few hours. Because typical home brewed tea with the tannins, starts to ferment after a few hours. Ours does not have those tannins, so it lasts so much longer and does not ferment. James Tea will last for over 5 days if you refrigerate it nightly. Typically, brewed teas will only last about 8 hours. You can leave James Tea out on the counter during the day and refrigerate it at night, and you will have that product for at least 5 days.

Q. How long does shipping take?
A. Orders process within 1 to 2 business days, and standard shipping takes 3 to 5 business days via regional carriers. Responsibility for the product transfers to the shipping carrier once the order has been dispatched.
